Q: Is electricity available in the camp ?
A: Yes, although we are off-grid we have solar power and you can always charge laptops, camera batteries, cell phones, etcetera in our charging area. We also have a solar fridge available for guest use

Q: Do we need to pay the park entry fee to stay at Liwonde Safari Camp ?
A: No ,although we are located inside the fence of Liwonde National Park we have our own access gate and park entry fees are only payable when going on a game drive or a boat safari. And only once if both safaris are done on the same day.

Q: Are the tents en-suite ?
A: Our Safari Tents have a toilet ensuite, the showers are not ensuite but are located close by.

Q: Does the camp allow children ?
A: Yes, but because of our unfenced camp being inside of Liwonde National Park there are dangers involved with large animals walking through our camp. It is very important that guests with children act accordingly. We don’t allow infants to come on safaris in our open game drive vehicles.

Q: Do you have a pool ?
A: We only have a small plunge pool.

Q: What should I bring?
A: A flashlight/torch is useful to bring for walking around after dark. Binoculars if you have. And if you are staying in a dorm please bring your own towel.

Q: Is it possible to pay by card ?
A: No, we don’t have a card machine, so cash please or bank transfer. When going on a game drive the park entry fee can be paid at the gate by card.

Q: Is internet available in the camp ?
A: Reception for TNM and Airtel are good in our camp. We can provide brief access to the internet during the daytime if you don’t have a local sim-card.

Q: Is there security in the camp ?
A: Yes,especially at night there are always several guards on duty to inform guests about the movement of wildlife in and around the camp.
